"Oh my god! I am so sorry!" I cried as I tried to pull my dog out of a strangers ute cab. Happy Tuesday to me!

That's right, we were casually walking home through the fog after walking around the neighbourhood in the freezing cold & rain when Shovey noticed the neighbours builder sitting in his ute looking at his phone.

I did not notice the builder. I also had Shovey's lead pretty loose around my wrist as I was about to unclip him when he tried to leap into the builders front seat, not only did he miss because he was still on his lead but the poor bloke was concentrating on his phone so he didn't realise he was about to get a cold, damp, 30kg dog in his lap and his head slammed into the back of his seat!

Shovey was soooo excited to have a new friend and thought I was super mean dragging him out. Fortunately for me the builder gave him a scruff and said he understood, car rides can be pretty exciting for dogs...but they normally go in the tray...

AWKWARD. I felt terrible, maybe I should make a double batch of cinnamon scrolls so the builder can have some as a "sorry my dog crushed you yesterday" type of apology.

As you can see Shovey was very apologetic.
