All in a Name

Today my mind is stuck on names. Baby names. No, don't get all excited, we are not pregnant (unfortunately). However, being the super organised person I am I want to be ready! Obviously I can't get ready for the sleepless nights, the pooey nappies and the constant crying, whether it's my tears or the babies, but I can be ready with names!
Did you plan your names prior? Have a favourite from birth? Or just waited until you met your baby and decided then?
I am currently writing all my favourite names down, sounding them out, making sure they flow well. I'm also making sure you can't rhyme the name with something gross or mean and that the initials don't become a silly acronym, why? Because children suck, they find the smallest thing and can pick on a child for years, my child will not be picked on because of the name we give them!
Isn't it funny how when thinking of names you think of all the people you do or don't like? I find myself thinking "oh no! I can't call my child Kirby, she was sooo mean in primary school", it wouldn't matter if she was as nice as pie now, the name is tarnished. Other names get bonus points if the person was lovely.
Do you like your name? When I was little I really liked the name Teresa, all my barbies were Teresa, now I'm grateful I was named Kylie, it really suits me!
