Green Thumb

We have a lovely plant at our front door, I call him Jack, he is a Kalanchoe Flapjack and was a gift from a previous neighbour. He brightens my mood everytime I see him and I like to think he helps the postman hide any small parcels as I am yet to buy a doormat.

We aren't really front door people, I guess since being from the country we use the back door more, or we did until it started jumping off it's tracks! Having that fixed is on the giant list of jobs and since our front door works it is quite low down.

About 2 months ago Jack started to flower, ever so slowly his stalk has grown and this week he has put out his first flowers.

Definitely worth waiting for!
