Fabulous Friends

Late 2013 my Husband was finishing up with the Forces and we had to start thinking about where we really wanted to live. After years of being moved we finally got to choose where we wanted to be. We made lists, ticked off pros and cons and narrowed it down to two. Sydney or Brisbane.

Sydney for family, family that would be a few hours drive away not a few hours flight away. Family that we adore and really only saw twice a year, sometimes not at all.

Brisbane for friends, so many true friends that had been there for us through thick and thin. We had a little house in Brisbane we could move into and the weather, oh the weather! As a bonus we would only be a short flight to family, a short direct flight too!

Brisbane won in the end, we couldn't get over the cost of living in Sydney and didn't want to get stuck in a rental cycle. We now see our family more and it is now only a 14 hour drive to the farm, yay!

We are blessed to be best friends with another couple, we now only live 24 minutes apart, yes we timed it. Marty and Christine are some of the kindest, funniest and most loyal people you will ever meet. We always have the most excellent time together and laugh, we laugh a lot.

Moving to Brisbane was definitely the right choice, we have never been happier and it's not hard to see why.
