The Good Neighbour Fairies were looking after us this week, ever since we moved in the neighbours have had a very tall, quite sick tree that would drop leaves and small branches into our pool, it took Nathan hours to scoop them all out and constantly filled the filter. We had reached the stage where we were going to talk to the neighbour about going halves to have it removed. Before we got the chance I heard the whirr of a chainsaw and looked out my laundry window to see a man in a hard hat and harness taking the tree down! It was magnificent and as a bonus didn't cost us a cent!
Did you know you can take down a tree in a morning? That men will come, chop it down and take it away? Sure it costs more but you get your yard back by lunch. Exciting times!

How good does it look? In fact now it looks bare, we might need to grow our hedge a bit!
We tried to have a nice relaxing coffee at Gloria Jeans however they forgot to train their staff on the new menu so Husband received a super sweet coffee instead of the Caramelatte and I received, well not sure really, a milky disappointment with a spritz of cream and green sprinkles. As the guy who served us didn't even know there was a new menu until I pointed out the sign so we did cut him a bit of slack but I still had to take a photo to prove my point!

Whilst at the shops I found my ULTIMATE trio of movies, nothing deep and thought provoking here. All in the same DVD case! Have you ever?! So fabulous, I restrained from buying it but I was very excited when Husband found it. I'm also chuffed that someone else thinks these movies are great and go together. Remember ladies, on Wednesday we wear pink!

I also got my new doona cover on the bed! It feels so lovely, 100% cotton doona covers, what a luxury I didn't know I was missing out on! A big thanks to Hardie Grant Books who sent me this fabulous prize, Minnie approves and now I want to sew up little bags for all my doona cover sets so they don't get cat hair on them.

I hope that you too had a lovely weekend and that you are receiving and giving lots of Good Neighbour Karma.
