When a sweet young lady comes into the office after celebrating her twelfth Birthday you’ve got to have cake!
This cake is super quick and easy and requires no baking, a bonus when you are at work or really don’t feel like baking. I have made this before with different variations, today we chose the Birthday girls favourite chocolate and sweets.

Ingredients
3x Family Blocks of Kit Kat*
2x Bags of M&M’s
1x Pre-made mudcake
Ribbon to decorate
Method
Leave your chocolate to settle at room temperature, if you forgot and it’s been in the fridge fill a jug with boiling water; dip a large sharp knife into the water and then wipe dry. This will heat the knife allowing you to cut through the chocolate smoothly. It nearly killed me when my beloved co-worker just snapped the chocolate into pieces with her hands leaving uneven edges 0_o
OK! *calming breaths* now that is done arrange the pieces around the outside of the cake and tie a ribbon around the middle. This holds all the pieces upright.
Fill the top with the M&M’s, add candles and that is it! You are a cake making goddess!
Note
On this occasion we only had two blocks of kit kat, ideally if you use three blocks you don’t have to cut the fingers of chocolate in half which gives you higher sides, this looks a bit more dramatic and you can add more M&M's!
